His wife was Margaret Hannah, who he married on 16 JUL 1791 in Dalrymple. Their seven known children were Margaret Logan (1792-1894), James (1794-1802), Joh (1796-1895), Thomas (1800-1802), Willia (1802-1879), Jame (1804-1878) and Thomas (c1808-1859).
