Description: The theme of water was chosen for this commissioned work from the the Cranhill Water Tower Lighting Committee. The commission resulted in the creation of six sculptures – Poseidon (the Greek God of the Sea), three sirens, a mermaid and a salmon (from Glasgow’s Coat of Arms). A decorative protective fence around the tower was included in the design.
