Description:

The Beast is a 20 foot long, five foot high bronze sculpture. The artist considered it to be the antithesis of the clean, sleek and desirable Silverburn Centre.

It is very hairy, almost dirty looking. A big hulk of a sculpture people could engage with and lift children on to for photos.

The commercial opportunities of  its original site caused is relegation to the less busy position. Before its re-siting the Beast had been surrounded by prickly vegetation had thus thwarting the artists hopes for her work.
