Description: The work is sited by the River Clyde at Dalmarnock Bridge and was commissioned by Lanarkshire Enterprise. In its creator’s words ‘…it takes inspiration from nautical, navigational and natural sources; reflects the shape and course of the River Clyde at that point; and echoes the former rope-making industry of the area in a modern, dynamic form.
