The memorial takes the form of a bronze casting of a rose on a long slender stem. It is the dominant feature in the park on the site of the former burial ground between Old Rutherglen Road and Errol Gardens. Around the circular base is the inscription “This memorial is dedicated to everyone from the Gorbals who served their country in times of conflict”.
