Polished granite with the inscription on the top face – “In memory of those from Dennistoun who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country 1914-1918 1939-1945 and in other conflicts; and on the front face a stylised cross and words from Laurence Binyon’s poem ‘For the Fallen’ : At the going down of the sun and in the morning. We will remember them.
