Hugh and Jane had six children:

• James Munro born 19 November 1858, Lonnie, Petty.
• Margaret Munro born about 1862
• Duncan Munro born 4 March 1864, Lonnie , Petty.
From 1861 to 1881 the family was resident at Lonnie “Farmer’s house”.
James Munro married Harriet Ross at Rosemarkie on 17 December 1886
The 1891 census records James (73), Jane (66) at ‘Lonnie Pauper’s House’. James is also listed – age 33 and married. Visiting his parents on Census night?
His wife, Harriet, was at 285 High Street, Elgin on Census night with her daughters Maggie J. Munro (2) and Isabella Munro (1 Mo.) Both daughters were born at 285 High Street, Elgin.
