Of the five sons only one, Duncan Haggart, married. The marital status of the two daughters has not yet been established.
On Census night 1841, Catherine was visting a family named McLaren in Bridge of Allan. John passed away before 1851. In the 1851 Census, Catherine, an ‘Outdoor Worker’ is the Hrad of the family of six children. Isabella isn’t listed. In 1851, she was was working as a maidservant in the Britannia Tavern in Perth.
By 1861 Catherine and her family are listed at Bridge of Allan. (374/10:002, Logie, p 014). Residence: 4 Henderson Street. Catherine had become a Lodging House Keeper. Isabella was Cook (in the Lodging House?), Duncan was working in the Airthrey Paper Mill and Donald was a Groom.
