Serafina Maria Loreta Visocchi was born on 19 June 1941 at Dundee.
She married Len Forte (son of Filippo Forte and Rosa Esposito born 12 March 1931, Dundee) on 25 April 1963.
Len and Serafina had two children:
• Carla Iolanda Forte born 11 April 1967, Perth. Carla married Scott Broadley (born 3 March 1967, Hamilton) on 10 September 1992 in St Stephens, Blairgowrie. They had two children – David James Broadley born 11 June 2000, Bellshill, Lanarkshire; and Anna Rosa Broadley born 14 October 2005, Glasgow.
• Sarah Rosa Forte born 16 June 1970, St Helens, Lancashire. Married Michael Anthony Young on 31 August 2002 in Dundee. Micheal and Sarah had two children – Mia Francesca Forte Young born 26 August 2003, Manchester; and Luca Daniel Forte Young born 5 October 2006.
