Glasgow City Council Pre-12 Strategy Phase 2

The second phase of the Pre 12 Strategy Project rationalised primary, nursery and special education needs schools into nine purpose built facilities:

Antonine Primary, 5 Abbotshall Avenue G15 8PR. New build. Opened Aug 2007. Merger of Drumry Primary, Lochgoin Primary, Halgreen Nursery and Drumchapel Early Years Centre.

Avenue End Primary, 290 Mossvale Road G33. New build. Merger of Garthamlock Primary, Ruchazie Primary, Croftcroighn School and Kincardine Nursery.

Cranhill Primary, 17 Skerryvore Road, G33 3HJ. New build. Opened Aug 2006. Merger of Milncroft Primary, Lamlash Primary, Bellrock Crescent Nursery.

Crookston Castle Primary, Glenside Avenue G53, New build, Opened May 2007. Merger of Bonnyholm Primary, Leithland Primary, McGill Primary and Langlands School.

Dalmarnock Primary, 111 Baltic Street, G40. New build. Opened Feb 2007. Merger of Barrowfield Primary, London Road Primary, Springfield Primary, London Road Nursery and Strathclyde Nursery.

St Bartholomew’s Primary, 30 Castlemilk Drive, G45 9TR. New build. Opened Jan 2007. Merger of St Julie’s Primary, St Bartholomew’s Primary and Machrie Nursery School.

St Maria Goretti Primary, 67 Skerryvore Road, G33 3LT. New Build. Opened Aug 2006. Merger of St Elizabeth Seton Primary, St Modan’s Primary and Lamlash Nursery.

St Rose of Lima Primary, 295 Mossvale Road, G 33. New build. Opened May 2007. Merger of St Philip’s Primary, St Rose of Lima Primary and Garhamlock Family Centre.

Wallacewell Primary, 305 Standburn Road, G21. New build. Opened April 2007. Merger of Littlehill Primary, Knockburn Primary and Acredyke Nursery.
