Kathleen McLean was born at Sandhead on 5 November 1947. She became a Shorthand Typist, living at the time of her marriage at 8 Bourtree Avenue, Kirkcudbright.
Kathleen married Thomas McIlwraith on 6 June 1969 at Sandhead. Thomas was an Architectural Technician, also at Kirkcudbright.
