Georgina Torrance McLean (1917-2003) married Patrick Redmond Coyle (c.1915 -2002)

Georgina (Ina) Torrance McLean was born on 21 November 1917.

Ina married Pat Coyle, a long distance lorry driver by trade.

Unlike her brothers and sister, Ina has retained a close Wigtownshire link – living all of her life in Stranraer.

Pat and Ina had a son, James (Jim) McLean Coyle (born 25 August 1941).

Jim married Celia Torbet in Portpatrick in 1962. Jim and Celia had two sons:

Douglas Coyle

Jim was the Parts Manager with Reid and Adams when the company was a Ford agent (in premises beside the old Stranraer cattle market – on the site of the present day Safeway).

Later, he set up his own long-distance haulage company. Jim and Celia live in Cairnryan.
