Jane Agnew (c.1840-1918)

My late wife, Georgina (Gina) Torrance McLean (b.1945) is descended from Jacob’s son, James McLean (b.1841). James married Jane Agnew on 28 January 1862 at High Drummore, Kirkmaiden.  He was a Farm Grieve (Overseer). Of their eleven children ten survived to adulthood; their third child, John, living less than two weeks.

John McLean (b. 20 January 1867, Low Drummore, d.31 January 1867).

James McLean born 13 January 1871, Low Drummore. Married Jessie Waldie.

Walter Heron McLean  born 28 May 1873, Low Drummore. Married Emma Campbell.

Elizabeth Thomson McLean  born 9 July 1875, Low Drummore.

John McLean born 25 July 1877, Low Drummore. Married Sarah Martin.

Sarah McLean born 26 October 1879, Low Drummore). Married James Keenan.

Mary Ann McLean  born 13 March 1882, Low Drummore.

Alexander McLean born 23 October 1884, Low Drummore. Married Georgina Torrance.
