Alexander (Sandy) Donald McCreath was born on 5 August 1942 at Sydney, NSW. He married Erica Frances Eldridge on 19 March 1966 at Goulbourn, NSW. They had two children:
Judith Ann (Judy) McCreath is a Forensic Pathologist in Perth, Western Australia.
Eric Charles McCreath has a Doctorate in Computer Engineering/ Artificial Intelligence from The University of New South Wales, and teaches at ANU, Canberra
In 1997, Eric married Margaret (surname not known) in Taree, a town on the Mid North Coast of NSW.
Margaret is a Optometrist.
Eric and Margaret have four children: John Alexander McCreath (b. 2002), Hugh Eric McCreath (b.2004), Matthew Robert McCreath (b.2007) and Isaac McCreath (b. ??).
I corresponded with Judy and Eric’s mother, Erica, who provided much of the information about this branch of the family. Her e-mails always exuded joy and enthusiasm. Sadly, Erica passed away on 6th April 2014. Regrettably we never met.
Following his wife’s passing, Alexander lived on the South Coast of NSW, with a little menagerie of dogs, alpacas, a bird and a cat. Sadly also, Sandy passed away on 24 April 2017.
