William Glenn McCreath was born on 26 August 1890 in North Bend, Nebraska.

William McCreath was Carpenter.

He served with ‘B’ Battery, 337th Field Artillery in World War I from 27 June 1918 till 5 August 1919.

His WW2 Draft Registration Card describes him as 6 feet tall, ruddy complexion, brown hair and blue eyes.

In 1910 William (20)  was a Boarder in the household of Ora A Warren in Anselmo Village in Victoria, Custer, Nebraska. Bertha B White (21), Ora’s sister-in law, was also resident at Anselmo Village

William married Bertha B White (born about 1889, Nebraska) in Custer, Nebraska in 1911. Bertha died 2 November 1926 in Custer.

William’s second wife was Lillian Mae Mikkelsen born 26 Jan 1895, Nebraska. They had a daughter, Glenna Mae McCreath born about 1927 in Nebraska.  William and Lillian divorced.

William’s third marriage was to Ruby Mae McGinnis (born 21 January 1904)

William Glenn McCreath died in Nebraska on 12 April 1959. He is buried at Purdum Cemetery, Blaine Co. with Ruby Mae who died on 16 May 1997.
