The business was run by Biaggio Coppola and his wife Maria Teresa. Maria’s father was a Fernando Fusco. He was a farmer in Italy. Her mother was Maria Rosa Minghella.
The family’s province of origin has not yet been identified.
Biaggio and Maria Teresa lived at 1 Grantley Street. Biaggio predeceased Marie, who died (age 75) at Grantley Street on 33 September 1937. The informant’s name on her certificate was their daughter, Marie Coppola.
Today the premises are occupied by Docherty Pharmacy (224) and Clyde Property (226).
