Died peacefully at Airedale, 4 days short of his 94th birthday. A proud Skiptonian and a resident of Whinny Gill for over 60 years, he was the youngest and last of 14 siblings. Husband of the late Mavis and father to John, he is fondly remembered by an extensive family of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews
A proud Cameronian, each year while he was fit, he faithfully attended the conventicle at Douglas and the Remembrance Day Service at Kelvingrove.
The regimental colours were paraded at his funeral in Skipton.
