David McCreath (1792-??), a Weaver, married Janet Martin (1791-1866) on 16 December 1816 at Paisley.
Janet died on 29th January 1866, age 76, at Alexandria, Bonhill. Informant was Archibald Jardine, son-in-law. David died before 1841.
In 1841 the whole family was involved in the cotton trade – Janet (50) , the mother – a Cotton Throwster, Janet (20) and Agnes (15) both CFW, Robert (15) – Apprentice Hand Loom Weaver and Helen (10) – at school.
