Established in 1913 by Antonio Mancini who hailed from Atina. The business passed to his son, Michele Mancini. Today it is run by Filippo Mancini, Antonio’s grandson
Around 2010 the premises were refurbished and the business rebranded as The Royal Cafe and Filippo’s Italian Bistro in Ayr.
