Robert McCreath was the second youngest of the children of Thomas and Mary McCreath
Robert, a Wright (Joiner) to trade, married Agnes Campbell at Kirkoswald on 18 June 1805.
He died at Crosshill Village on 12 January 1866. He was predeceased by his wife.
They had seven children:
