Nora Christine McCreath was born on 23 February 1911.
She had a son, William (Joe) McCreath born 11 February 1933 at Invercargill. Name of father not recorded.
Nora then married Albert Wilkes with whom she also had a son, Albert Francis Wilkes.
She then married William Martin McGill Strathern on 7 August 1940. William was a widower (first wife Helen Christina Shieffelbein (1990-1936)
William and Nora had four chidren:
• Peter McLean Strathern born 12 January 1939.
• Agnes Adirene Lynne Strathern born 25 September 1940.
• Roderick Edward Alexander Strathern born 19 January 1942, Died 7 January 1942, Timaru.
• Lyn Ellen Strathern born 16 August 1948
Lyn Ellen Strathern married Ivan Willis Daly on 26 December 1968. They had two children – Bruce Martin Daly (b. 11 January 1972) and Peter Graham Daly (b. 4 October 1973). Bruce married Belinda Kuschert. They have a daughter, Josina Martin Daly (b. 7 December 1999, Sydney.
