Frank McCreath (1887-??), born on 14 August 1887,  was the second eldest of the eight children of John McCreath and Mary McKinlay.  He emigrated to the US in 1911 aboard the Parisian, arriving at Boston, Mass. on 4 June.  On the manifest he is described as a chemist, and that his friend was Isa Morris. Her family had earlier emigrated. 

Frank married Isabella Morris  on 28 July  1911.  He applied for US citizenship in March 1918.

Mary’s application for a US Passport in 1920 gives her date of birth as 1 April 1888 in Paisley.  Childhood sweethearts?

The couple had one known child, Mary W McCreath born 5 March 1912 in Providence, Rhode Island.

In the 1920 US Census Mary is listed as being widowed – Frank having passed away sometime between March 1918 and 1920.

In the 1930 Census Isabella and Mary were living at her parent’s home  in Providence. Both worked in a jewelry shop – Isabella a s a ’countersinker’, Mary as a packer.

Mary died in April 1995. She is listed both as Mary W McCreath and Mary Watt Moore. No record of a marriage has been found, nor is it known if there were any issue.
