Andrew Park McCreath married Mary McMillan on 15 June 1857 at Greenock.
At the time of his marriage (age 29) Andrew was a lowly seaman; later he is described as a Master Mariner or a Shipmaster. He died age 52. Cause of death – drowning near ship in West Harbour Greenock. The death certificate records his occupation as Ship Watchman.
