John Valentine McCreath was born on Valentine’s day, 14 February 1886, at Toxteth Park, Lancs; hence his middle name.
John married Sarah Ethel Hatherwell in 1909 in London. They had one known son, Eric McCreath, who married Joan Evelyn Barton.
Eric and Joan had two children:
(i) David Arthur John McCreath born 1937
David married Nicole Porez. David and Nicole had three children:
• Alexander Paul Porez McCreath born 1968. Alexander married Julie Baker. They have a son, Ashton Peter McCreath (born 2008)
• Olivier Jerome Porez McCreath born 1970. Married Petra Euranius. They have two children: Freya Olivia McCreath (born 2004) and Charlie Viggo McCreath (born 2006)
• Marianne Louisa McCreath born 1973. Married Gabriel Saavedra. They had a son, Rafael Jacques McCreath (born 2000). Marianne re-married Roger Packam. They have a son, Alfred John Packham.
Sadly, Nicole died of cancer in 2009.

Malcolm married Pamela Stewart. They have two children:
